What problems should plastic processing plants pay attention to when injection molding?
Injection molding is a common method of plastic product molding and occupies an important position in plastic processing. The quality of injection molding process will directly affect the appearance and quality of the product. Therefore, plastic processing plants need to pay attention to the following three problems when injection molding.
What problems should plastic processing plants pay attention to when injection molding?
1. Temperature control
It is necessary to pay attention to controlling the temperature during injection molding, because the temperature required for different raw materials is not the same during injection molding. The temperature is too low to easily affect the color of the liquid raw materials, and the temperature is too high to easily make the produced products appear rough. Under normal circumstances, plastic processing plants need to control the temperature including cylinder temperature, nozzle temperature and mold temperature.
2. Pressure control
The pressure that needs to be controlled in the plastic processing plant during the injection molding process mainly includes plasticizing pressure and injection pressure. Plasticizing pressure refers to the pressure on the top of the injection screw when the screw rotates and recedes. Injection pressure refers to the pressure exerted on the plastic by the top of the plunger or screw. If the pressure is not controlled well, it will directly affect the plasticization of plastics and the quality of plastic products.
3, molding cycle
That is, the time required to complete a single injection molding process, which is mainly composed of closing time, filling time, holding time, cooling time, opening time, stripping time, etc. In the whole molding cycle, the injection time and cooling time have a decisive impact on the quality of plastic products. The cooling time is not necessary to be too long, because too long time is easy to reduce production efficiency, but also make the parts difficult to release, affecting the molding.
